Orangewood Townhouse Park

Orangewood Townhouse Park is a charming townhouse community located at 47th Avenue and Orangewood in Glendale, Arizona 85301. Back in 1971, this area was still open farmland in what was then considered the far northern edge of Glendale. Reminders of that rural past remain in the form of a few original farmhouses, standing as quiet witnesses to the city's rapid growth during the 1970s and 1980s. Today, this neighborhood is part of Glendale’s southern region. The land for Orangewood Townhouse Park was acquired in 1972 by Stewart Title and Trust Company of Phoenix, with the vision of creating a thoughtfully designed townhouse community. Construction led to the development of 18 fourplex buildings, comprising a total of 92 two-story units. The first residents began moving in by 1980, and the community has been growing ever since.
