Our Mission

Our mission is simple: make Homeowner Association (HOA) information transparent, accessible, and useful for everyone.

Our Story

HOA Directory was born from a conversation between Arizona real estate attorney Adam Buck and his friend and software developer Nick. Adam had spent years frustrated by how difficult it was to find reliable, centralized information about HOAs.

As an attorney, Adam regularly advised clients to research an HOA before buying a home. But there was no easy or consistent way to do that. HOA Directory was built to make this due diligence practical.

What We're Building

We are building the first national database of HOAs, COAs and other housing associations that includes:

• CC&Rs and governing documents
• Homeowner reviews
• Links to official HOA websites
• Searchable listings by state and city

Whether you are buying your first home or relocating, HOA Directory helps you compare communities and make informed decisions.

How You Can Contribute

But we cannot build this alone.

• Search for your HOA and request it if it is missing.
• Add your community website if it is not linked yet.
• Upload CC&Rs and other governing documents.
• Write a quick review of your experience.
