Friendly and welcoming, Hacienda del Rey is a hidden jewel in South Scottsdale. Only 104 homes here, and rarely does someone move away. Several families have so loved living here that they convinced other family members to also buy a home in Hacienda del Rey. Several original owners still live here too. Conveniently located near the intersection of Hayden Rd. & McDowell Rd., it is only a couple of miles to the 101 Freeway, the 202 Freeway, and downtown Scottsdale. Also, we are located by a Lowe's Home Improvement store, Fry's grocery store, support services such as hair salons, Urgent Care clinic, FedEx, Post Office, the General Dynamics facility and too many restaurants to list. Hacienda del Rey has a private park, the Greenbelt, for residents' use. The large grassy area is bordered at one end by a social seating area, and the other end has a sport court for playing tennis, volleyball, and shooting baskets. There is a community orchard and herb garden to share. The newly remodeled Pebbletec pool and spa are surrounded by a lushly landscaped deck and a social gathering area. The homes circle the Greenbelt, with the inner loop homes backing onto the Greenbelt, and the outer loop having more private backyards.
